The ideal candidate is a seasoned LAMP developer with 8+ years experience developing custom applications using MVC frameworks. An ideal candidate would be comfortable working alongside industry veterans with proven track records for success, and should enjoy finding elegant solutions to large scale, highly complex problems.

Responsibilities:

Architect, design, code and test LAMP web applications
Test and enhance existing product features
Develop new products and features from the ground up
Write clean and well tested code

Work well in an agile team environment

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP)
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML
Have built applications using a MVC framework such as CakePHP, Zend, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc
Knowledge of source control systems (Git, Subversion)
Desire to work in an exciting, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup environment
Passion for and experience in developing great web products end-to-end
Ability to add your own previous experience and intuition to positively influence the product

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science
Experience with developing in Ruby or Python
Experience with a NoSql database (redis, mongodb, couchdb, etc)
Experience building social networking / media websites
Experience with large, scalable PHP / MySQL websites

Responsibilities:
