Responsibilities:

Work as part of a small team creating cutting edge web-based transportation software
Opportunity to participate in high level technical design of our systems
Develop modular, reusable code to reduce implementation times

Requirements:

We are looking for a full-time LAMP Engineer to help develop our products in web, email and mobile and channels. Our Back-End Engineer requires great development skills, as well as strategic thinking and technical decision-making abilities. 2+ years well-rounded experience working with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) systems, including programming, system administration, and database administration

Practical experience with MVC frameworks and RESTful APIs (Symfony, Magento preferred)
Strong understanding of and experience with version control systems (SVN, git)
Basic Linux systems administration skills – understanding how to get around in the shell, simple scripting and Apache vhost management
Experience with Ajax, JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery

Experience working with Agile methodologies
