An ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
-Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-The ability to research and work through Hardware/Software issues
-Experience with Windows (2000 through 7 as well as Server 2003 & 2008)
-A brief to deep understanding about the inner workings of e-mail and e-mail services
-Hardware/Software installations and upgrades
-Experience or interest in Linux services/protocols such as LDAP, Samba, Squid, Webmin, Postfix, iptables, MySQL, apache
-Experience integrating a Linux machine into a Windows workstation environment
-Configuring & upgrading network devices and peripherals such as firewalls, switches and printers
-Backup and Recovery implementation
-Selling computers, upgrades and peripherals
A neat and professional appearance is expected, as well as the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals. A car is also necessary for occasional on-site service calls. If you possess excellent technical service abilities, diagnostic skills and customer service skills this position is for you.
